How do a person remove tape residue from the corners of baseball cards.?
My Grandmother collected baseball cards and taped them into a scrape book in the 40s and 50s. I need to find out how to remove the tape residue, from the face of the cards, so I can sell them. Thanks
STOP-STOP-STOP. All advice given above is INCORRECT. You have a treasure and some thing probably valuable, which you will destroy if you try anything. You must take them to an expert in their present condition, if it can be removed let a professional restorer do it so the value remains.Leave them in the book, get them restored and graded, then you can buy a book on card values from the 40s and 50s and also get values on Internet. Once graded you can sell on eBay, or to a reputable dealer once you know their value.
